One effective approach is to invite alumni as judges for these events. Alumni, with their diverse expertise and industry experience, bring a unique perspective and valuable insights that can elevate the quality and impact of such events.

In our effort to inculcate a sound understanding of the competitive market environment and simultaneously to provide a Platform to the students to showcase their understanding of Market dynamics and the required Skills and competence, we have been organizing our  Flagship event “W.W.F. – THE MARKET WRESTLING” (Product Launching Simulation Competition) since 2004. It’s a team-based competition with the objective to help students understand the competitive environment and strategic moves to launch a value-added product in the market. The exercise has eight Products categories with each category having four five competing teams presenting a launch plan of their allocated product.  In a stipulated time, Students undertake a market visit, prepare launching plan, create a campaign, and make presentation of their launching plan based on certain inputs given to them.

The involvement of accomplished alumni as judges adds prestige and credibility to the event. Their successful careers and accomplishments serve as a testament to the quality of education and opportunities provided by the institution. Our alumni judges provide participants with invaluable insights into the real-world applications and expectations of their respective fields. The event elicited commendatory response from Industry Experts present on the day as Judges for the same. The keen assessment, objective evaluation & constructive feedback from the Industry practicians were the takeaway of the event for our future managers in making.

Through their role as judges, our alumni did engage with participants, provide guidance, and offer mentorship to those who show potential or demonstrate exceptional abilities. Inviting alumni to participate as judges strengthens the bond between the IPER and its graduates. By involving our alumni in such events, the institution demonstrates its continued commitment to supporting and showcasing the achievements of its alumni community.
